Allison Goodson is a native San Franciscan and a proud graduate of Hamlin. After Hamlin, Allison attended University High School and then went East to Brown University for college.
Following graduation, she worked in consulting in New York until she realized that her heart was in San Francisco. She moved back to San Francisco and started her career in equity research at Dodge & Cox. After completing the research associate program, she earned her MBA at the Wharton School and upon graduation joined the International Equity team at WHV Investments, where she spent the next eight years as an equity analyst and portfolio manager on the flagship fund.
Giving back to her community has always been an important part of Allison’s life. She spent many years fundraising for California Pacifica Medical Center as part of their Junior Committee, as a member of the Advisory Council of Potential Energy (formerly the Darfur Stoves Project), and a mentor for Year Up. Allison has also been deeply involved with The Hamlin School, serving on the Alumni Board for six years, the final two as the President of the Alumni Board. She currently serves on the board of the Bay Area Discovery Museum.
Allison and her husband, Jeff, live in San Francisco with their two boys, Graham (5) and Parker (2).
