Trained in Neurodiversity and Educational Therapy, Emily (she/her) uses a strengths-based approach to aid in learning differences and to explicitly teach skills and strategies that support learning in the classroom and executive function skills. The goal is for all students to feel confident and be successful at school while leading teaching teams and communicating with parents and allied professionals. She has been an educator since 2008 and has 9 years of classroom teaching experience in Grades 2-6 in multi-grade, co-ed, and single sex atmospheres. She also has experience as a gifted/enrichment specialist and teacher mentor. Emily holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, a Masters Degree in Leadership and Administration, a Gifted/Enrichment Certification, and an Educational Therapist Certification.
Emily lives in San Francisco with her husband, Drew, and their daughter, Mila. She loves being active and going on long walks with her family and trying out new restaurants in the city!
