He has also coached many sports, taken students on excursions around the country and world, worked as a dormitory head, and served as an Academic Dean. He earned his Master’s degree in Independent School Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied both empathy as a driver of faculty culture and student perceptions of safety within schools. He moved to the Bay Area last year and, most recently, served as the Dean of Community Life at San Domenico School. He is looking to keep exploring the food scene in San Francisco and the beaches and mountains in Marin County with his dog, Bowser, by his side.
