Willow Hagge (they/them) started at Hamlin as the Hub Art Teacher and soon became the Director of Extended Day and Co-Curricular Programs. After 7 years in that role, Willow took on the then newly-formed role of Director of Operations in 2019. Willow’s educational background is in the fine arts: they studied English, Art History, and Studio Art at Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, receiving a combined BFA and BA. Willow also holds an MFA in Printmaking from the University of Wisconsin.
Willow loves how the skills they learned in art school – generating ideas and seeing them through to completion – has served them well over the years in many different areas of life and work. Willow enjoys spending time sewing clothes, painting, and camping with their two boys, ages 6 and 9, and their spouse Bunny.
Willow is non-binary and their pronouns are they/them/theirs. They would love to talk to you about how much happier and more comfortable they are now that they can fully express their gender identity!
