PLAID Presents: How the Culture of Wealth Impacts the Creation of Shared Community
As part of PLAID’s annual programming, we are pleased to announce our first PLAID Conversation for the school year, featuring two special guests you may very well recognize! On Wednesday, January 25, we warmly invite you to attend How the Culture of Wealth Impacts the Creation of Shared Community: A Conversation with Head of School Wanda M. Holland Greene and Robert Greene. We will explore the topic of wealth and income disparity in the Bay Area and how that impacts belonging within our community. We will also exchange ideas of how we can overcome those differences by embracing tools to engage with our families and friends and have courageous dialogue on this topic. This conversation will be moderated by Hamlin parent Alison Crawford P’28 alongside Hamlin students Georgia L. ’23 and Dylan W. ’23.
To RSVP for in-person or virtual attendance, please email Melissa Skiles, Director of Community Well-being at skiles@hamlin.org.
PLAID’s mission is to support a vibrant and inclusive environment in which all members of the community can celebrate their authentic selves. They foster connections through family programs, cultural celebrations, and community dialogues.
