Linda (she/her) was born in Switzerland to a Swiss mother and Nicaraguan father, and she moved to San Francisco in second grade; she now considers San Francisco her home. She studied Sociology at UC Davis and spent a year abroad in Lyon, France before moving to Madrid to complete her Spanish language credentials at Complutense University. Her passion for language education, cultural exchange, and lifelong learning led her to earn a Masters in Teaching Spanish Language and Culture from Granada, Spain. With nearly two decades of experience teaching Spanish and French, Linda has developed rigorous programs integrating conversation, history, geography, and the arts. She enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Spanish-speaking countries, attending live music events, and cooking in Forestville, where she lives with her husband, two sons, and their dog.
