Katie (she/her) rejoins the Hamlin community as the Director of Community Well-Being after serving as the Lower School Counselor from 2020-2022. With experience as a Director of Counseling at two Bay Area high schools, she is passionate about the inextricable link between holistic health and both anti-bias and anti-racism tenets and understandings. Her post-graduate work has focused on gender, intersectional feminism, child development related to identity, and bias formation. She is currently completing her Doctorate in Anti-Racist Policy and Leadership at American University.

By the end of their first year, they were navigating the early onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and faced a pivotal decision: whether to move forward with our bold and transformative campus construction project amid profound global uncertainty.
