The son of a State Department official, Adam spent much of his childhood in Thailand and Brazil before settling in Washington, DC. He attended Fordham University in New York and earned his MBA from UC Berkeley.
Adam is a partner at Lockton Insurance Brokers where he helps large enterprises solve complex risk financing problems, such as shock losses arising from securities litigation, consumer class actions, and cyber breach events. He has worked in the commercial insurance industry for over 30 years, representing clients in a broad array of industries, including financial services, technology, real estate, retail, and manufacturing.
Adam also leads Lockton Cares, a philanthropic initiative within Lockton that supports local non-profits through directed grants and group volunteer projects.
Outside of his professional capacity, Adam serves in full or advisory board positions at the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, Leadership San Francisco, and Friends of the Children SF-Bay Area. He also recently completed a 12-year term on the board of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.
Adam lives in San Francisco with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Zach (Town 2026) and Quinn (Hamlin 2030). He enjoys skiing, golfing, going to Giants/Warriors games, live music, and spending time with his family.
