Kelsey Lamond is a passionate advocate for education and the arts. She serves as a trustee of San Francisco Ballet, where she co-created and launched the inaugural Nutcracker Benefit Luncheon and currently chairs the Artistic Committee. She previously served on the Trinity Board of Visitors at Duke University.
Originally from New Jersey, Kelsey attended the Professional Children’s School in New York City while training at the School of American Ballet. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Economics from Duke University and began her professional career at Goldman Sachs, holding roles in Private Wealth Management and Equities.
Kelsey and her husband, David, live in San Francisco with their two daughters, Olivia (’27) and Juliette (’28). She enjoys ballet, baking, and traveling with her family.
These trustees—my peers, colleagues, and friends—joined the board in 2019. By the end of their first year, they were navigating the early onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and faced a pivotal decision: whether to move forward with our bold and transformative campus construction project amid profound global uncertainty.
