Jen (she/her) has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for 21 years and has worked with children, teens, and families for over 18 years. Before arriving at Hamlin, Jen was a School Social Worker for 10 years in the San Francisco Unified School District at a Grades K-5 elementary school. Jen received her B.A. in sociology at Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, and attended Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts to obtain her master’s degree in social work (M.S.W.).
In her free time, Jen enjoys music, being active and exercising, and playing with her beloved Bernadoodle named Maisie…but what she enjoys most is spending quality time with her three high school-aged daughters before they all soon depart for college.
When I think about what has brought us to this moment, one feeling rises above all others: gratitude. Gratitude for the friendships formed, for the partnerships with Wanda, the leadership team, and my fellow trustees, and for the extraordinary faculty and staff who bring this school to life each day with intention, care, and heart, whether in the classroom, in the hallways, or in the quiet moments in between.
