Julia Fiedler-Ross received her undergraduate degree in Education (with a focus in middle school math education) from the University of Portland, a graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston University, and has Clear California Teaching Credential. The 2022-2023 school year will mark her 12th year in education. Over the years, Julia has taught middle school math and science, served as a math director, collaborated with teachers to analyze curriculum standards, created a numeracy program to support all learners in math, and recently worked as a learning specialist. Julia’s passion lies in middle school math education, and she strives to create a classroom culture that makes math engaging, relevant, and accessible to all students.

Gratitude for the friendships formed, for the partnerships with Wanda, the leadership team, and my fellow trustees, and for the extraordinary faculty and staff who bring this school to life each day with intention, care, and heart, whether in the classroom, in the hallways, or in the quiet moments in between.
