Max (he/him) was born and raised in New England, spending the majority of his childhood in midcoast Maine. He graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxeville, New York with a BA in Liberal Arts & Sciences, concentrating in theater and anthropology. After living across the U.S., Max moved to San Francisco in 2024 to serve as an AmeriCorps volunteer at the non-profit Reading Partners where he provided literacy intervention tutoring to K-4 students. Coming from a family of teachers, Max is passionate about education and excited to join The Hamlin School community. In his free time he enjoys going to museums, watching movies, and exploring the city with his friends.
